Lake Pend Oreille Tours

Lake Pend Orielle offers a variety of half, full, and multi day tours. Some of our specialty tours include:

Fisherman's Island - Half Day (4hrs)
Have you always wanted an island getaway? Enjoy views of both the Cabinet and Selkirk Mountains while paddling the lakes northern shoreline to an eagle nesting sanctuary. Pack a lunch, hop in for a swim and enjoy the beautiful views. This is a great excursion for someone looking to experience the lake and still have time in the day for other adventures. Mountain biking, hiking, shopping, golfing... anyone? The possibilities are endless.

Down in the Delta - Full Day (6hrs)
Catch a glimpse of an osprey in flight or a moose foraging in the shallows. Clark Fork Delta provides one of the most interesting trips we offer on Lake Pend Oreille. This trip combines two very different environments into one trip. Lush estuaries provide habitat for many resident and migrating species of birds, as well as deer, moose, bear, otter, beaver, muskrats and fish. Just south of the delta, the majestic Green Monarch Mountains flank the lake's remote eastern shoreline. The waters are deep and the scenery is breathtaking.

Full Moon - 3 hours
Experience Lake Pend Oreille at its finest. Join us June through September and paddle by the light of the silvery moon. Don't miss this opportunity for a truly magical evening.
Dates:July 18th & 19th & August 15th & 16th
Time: 8pm - 11pm
Special price: $69/per person - Sorry No Group Discounts

Sunset - Half Day (4hrs)
The sky gives up it's cheery, robin's egg blue and dresses up in something more serene. A thin layer of wispy clouds blushes at the entrance of twilight. The sun's bold rays relax into a smoldering glow just behind a row of mountain sentinels, just for you, as you float on an azure field of still water. Our sunsets rival the best, be there to call one of them your own on our fabulous sunset paddle.

Bird & Boat - Half (4hrs)/Full Day (6hrs)
Catch a glimpse of a majestic Bald Eagle in flight, an Osprey diving for his lunch or a beautiful Blue Heron hiding among the Cat Tails. Bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts alike will marvel at the variety of birds and waterfowl that frequent the Clark Fork and Pack River Deltas. Whether you look up to the sky or down to the water, you are sure to be delighted around every corner.

Majestic Monarchs - Full (6hrs)/Multi Day
Come explore The Majestic Green Monarchs! These steep granite mountains flank Lake Pend Oreille's eastern shore line. Mountain Goats, Bald Eagles, flatstone beaches, Cedar trees, you might wonder if your in the Fjords of Europe or Alaska! The waters run deep, the scenery is breathtaking!

Ice Age Floods - Full Day (6hrs)
