Deposit + Payment

A 50 percent deposit of total is due at time of booking with the balance due 30 days prior to the tour*. If the reservations are made within 30 days of the scheduled departure, payment in full is required at the time of booking. If full payment is not received 30 days prior to departure date, Full Spectrum Tours reserves the right to cancel and retain any deposit. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Travelers checks, money orders, local checks, and cash (only if paid at our retail location). Please do not send cash through the mail.

Cancellation + Refunds

If you cancel more that 7 days prior to your departure date we will refund your entire payment less a $5 per person cancellation fee for 1/2 day or Full Day tours*; and a $50 per person cancellation fee for Multi-day tours. If you cancel 2 to 6 days prior to your departure date, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel the day before, the day of, or are a no show, there is no refund. FST reserves the right to cancel any reservation due to weather or safety hazards. If FST cancels due to safety hazards or weather, you will receive a full refund. Generally FST will make the decision to cancel at the designated meeting place, at the scheduled departure time. Even if the weather is “questionable” we ask that you show up at the pre-arranged meeting place, otherwise you will be considered a no show and no refund will be issued.

Arriving Late

To assure proper and timely service for our guests, if you are more than 20 minutes late for a tour you will be considered a no show and will not receive a refund. For rentals that schedule delivery, the delivery person will wait up to 20 minutes past the scheduled meeting time. After that you will be considered a no show and will not receive a refund. For rentals that are on a carryout basis, the amount of time you are late is deducted from your total rental time. If you are more than 30 minutes late for a carryout, your kayaks will become available for others to rent.

Rescheduling

If you reschedule a tour for a different date 7 days prior to departure there is no fee. You may reschedule up to 48 hours prior to the tour departure for a $5 per person for 1/2 day and full day tours* and $50 for multi-day tours. After that we cannot reschedule for you.

Multi-day Tours

After you have made and confirmed your reservation, you will be contacted to discuss menu options. You will also receive detailed information for your tour, including what to bring, where to meet, and an outline of your tour and more.

Guest Responsibility

You are responsible for studying all pre-trip information and for bringing appropriate clothing and gear. You are responsible for getting to the pre-arranged meeting place, at the scheduled time of departure, otherwise you will be considered a “No Show”. You are asked to inform FST of any medical conditions, allergies, heart problems, or prescription drugs prior to you tour. Please be sure to include this in your reservation form. Please call our office if you have any questions and to discuss options. We always recommend you consult you doctor before any tour if you have or have ever had any serious medical conditions.

Insurance

We recommend that you purchase travel insurance before joining us on any tour.

Kayak Age Requirements

You must be 12 years or older to paddle in a kayak solo on our regular and custom tours. Ages are listed on all youth programs. Children between the ages of 7-12 are welcome to join a parent or guardian in a tandem kayak on any tour.

*The word “tour” in the above text represents rentals, demos, and instruction as well as the tours offered by FST.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.
